The CSS works on only one simple principle by selecting HTML elements and applying styles to them. To do this, simply select an element or group of elements, once you select, you can apply different styles like fonts, colors, positioning, padding etc.., to make your HTML elements presentable to user.

Syntax of CSS:

CSS consist of 2 components. The selector and declaration block. The selector select the elements of HTML to apply different styles. The declaration block has property-values separated with semicolon, each value define style attributes.
